About the author
Jeffrey McCullough, MD, is an international leader in transfusion medicine with experience in hospital transfusion service and blood supply organizations.  He has been the recipient of many federal grants and contracts, and has been involved in many advisory capacities to both government and industry organizations both domestically and internationally. He served as editor of the journal Transfusion and has published more than 350 articles in the medical literature. He is Emeritus Professor University of Minnesota and Adjunct Professor Arizona State University
